New Report Demonstrates that Congress Can Afford Health Refom
A first-of-its-kind Congressional Budget Office/Joint Tax Committee Report found that if enacted, Senator Wyden's Healthy Americans Act would provide universal health care coverage without, as Wyden said "breaking the bank." The report found the Act to be budget neutral in its first year of implementation and in following years would generate budget surpluses. Wyden called the news "historic." More >
