COVID-19 Economic Resources

On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) into law. ARPA is a major health and economic rescue package passed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the legislation included several of Senator Wyden's priorities. In particular, he fought for two key proposals to get money into the hands of those struggling with the economic impact of the pandemic by extending supercharged unemployment benefits, and helping small businesses retain their workers and return to normal operations when the economy restarts.
